in updating ModifiedHttpSolrClient, or if the problem has been there all
along in SolrJ.

There's been a lot of back-and-forth in the CONNECTORS-1533 ticket. I've
convinced myself that, if there is a problem with document deletions under
Solr Cloud, it is present in the shipping version of Solrj 7.4.0 as well.

While I can't guarantee that all will be smooth sailing, the bugs (if they
exist) are definitely in SolrJ and will require fixes from them.
