SAP HANA for Support

2020-07-21 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi,

Does ManifoldCFsupport SAP HANA as a repository connection for crawling?
HANA supports a JDBC driver for such purposes.

On the other hand, it could be nice to learn if anybody else tried such a
thing before.

Re: Release schedule

2020-04-18 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi,

By the way, when I check the error here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12997363/elastic-search-1.0.1-java11-build-error.log

Seems that it is not specific to Java 11:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46636954/elasticsearch-1-1-2-not-starting-properly

Upgrading ES to minimum Java 9 support version which is 6.2.x can be fine:

Re: Release schedule

2020-04-18 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi,

There is a compatibility matrix for Elasticsearch. We need to support at
least Elasticsearch 6.5.x for Java 11 support. You can check it from here:
https://www.elastic.co/de/support/matrix#matrix_jvm

@Cihad

As far as I know, current support is not 2.0.0. It is 5.5.2:
https://github.com/apache/manifoldcf-integration-elasticsearch-5.5

@Karl Wright

So, such an upgrade from 5.5.2 to 6.5.x may not be so painful. Committers
who use ES can comment on this.

My comments:

+1 to temporarily turning those tests off
-1 to temporarily turning the connector off

Hi,

+1 from me.

I checked:
- LICENSE and NOTICE are fine
- NOTICE needs to be updated (check my comment below)

- Code compiles and tests successfully run

There is only one minor objection from me which is NOTICE file does not
include up-to-date year for copyright. I've created a PR for it.

Re: [VOTE] Release Apache ManifoldCF 2.14, RC1

2019-09-25 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi,

+1 from me.

I checked:
- LICENSE and NOTICE are fine
- NOTICE needs to be updated (check my comment below)
- No unexpected binary files
- Checked PGP signatures
- Checked Checksums
- Code compiles and tests successfully run

There is only one minor objection from me which is NOTICE file does not
include up-to-date year for copyright. I've created a PR for it.

Kind Regards,
Furkan KAMACI

Hi Cihad,

That package is removed at Java 11. It is possible that you compiled the
project via Java 11 which is not supported at ManifoldCF yet.

Hi Priya,

Set Xms and Xmx values as same. Try with a fairly bigger value, i.e. 4096m
or more and share the result. Then we can adjust that value.

What is your main purpose to use ManifoldCF, just web crawl? If so, you can
check Apache Nutch project too.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your interest!

Community is important for FOSS projects. It can both help to develop such
improvements and use it as may need them.

So, in my opinion you can share which parts do you want to improve/add and
share it with us for both some can help you and need them.

ManifoldCF Website Links

2019-02-21 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi All,

When we search something on ManifoldCF on Google we get results something
like that:

https://manifoldcf.apache.org/release/release-2.9.1/en_US/performance-tuning.html

However, such links are broken. Can we fix it someway i.e. creating a path
for latest release?

Mambo CMS

2019-01-26 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi All,

Mambo (http://mambo-foundation.org) is an open source CMS system which is
being used by many companies.

Do we have a Mambo integration via ManifoldCF or does anybody knows Mambo
supports our CMIS connector?

If not, we can suggest it as a GSoC project for 2019.

Kind Regards,
Furkan KAMACI

Re: Proposal for a brand new ManifoldCF website

2017-11-16 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi Piergiorgio,

We certainly need a prettier website for ManifoldCF. UI is so important and
people creates their first impressions when they touch our website. I would
like to help such effort.

By the way, we can consider this template too: https://cloudstack.apache.org

Actually, I've used oauth_token_secret as secret and oauth_token as key but
didn't work.

Btw, Dropbox says that today is planned as the last day to support the old
API but they've postponed it for a couple of months.

Exchange Repository Connector

2017-05-25 Thread Furkan KAMACI
Hi Team,

Currently we have a "Individual Email Repository Connection" which works on
IMAP, IMAP-SSL, POP3, or POP3-SSL.

However, I think that we should also have an Exchange Repository Connector
which works over Exchange Web Services (EWS). Current implementation has
some limitations and such a connector can overwhelm it.

For example, we should create individual connections for all e-mail
addresses if we want to index all e-mails within an Exchange Server. Also,
we should know all passwords of corresponding e-mail addresses. However, we
can access to other mailboxes with a user via EWS if that user authorised
to access it.

So, what do you think about it?

Kind Regards,
Furkan KAMACI

[jira] [Created] (CONNECTORS-1412) Email Job Fails if To Recipient is Not Specified

2017-04-18 Thread Furkan KAMACI (JIRA)
Furkan KAMACI created CONNECTORS-1412:
-

Summary: Email Job Fails if To Recipient is Not Specified
 Key: CONNECTORS-1412
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CONNECTORS-1412
 Project: ManifoldCF
  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: Email connector
Affects Versions: ManifoldCF 2.6
Reporter: Furkan KAMACI
Assignee: Furkan KAMACI
 Fix For: ManifoldCF 2.8
 Attachments: CONNECTORS-1412.patch

Emails can be CC'ed without defining a To recipient. In such case, ManifoldCF
tries to run that line:

{code:java}
String[] toStr = new String[to.length];
{code}

which causes an error.
