English/German.
Maybe we need some more people from Asia to help promote OOo?

Dear fellow marketer,
I have been reading the marketing news digest and realise that
most of the marketing work are done in US or Europe where there is a
major group of people doing great work on promoting the product. I am
wondering whether there is any work to say Asia (I think ther
Thanks for the info Stefan. I was actually planning on being in
Oregon during that time for other reasons, but I would love to go.
I'm going to have to see what I can do about work, wife and money, but
if everything can pan out I'll be there.

Hi,
Are you going to OSCON 2005 in Portland?
I would be glad to hear about OOo community members who plan
to go to OSCON.
Let's join the session about OOo, help answering questions about OOo and
support the short presentations in the booth area.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of times (mostly with computer magazine's
CD-ROMs) where computer magazines list OpenOffice.org as "Open Office"
and "OpenOffice". Lots of people seem to also confuse OpenOffice.org

If that's the case is there any problem with us using it here in the
US? And would it be worth it to trademark it here? Just bringing a
discussion.

Adam,
Thanks for this. I've already fed back to them that commercial technical
support most definitely IS available on OOo.
I think our clients would be surprised to learn that the service they get
from us doesn't exist :-)

CRN is a computer trade magazine sent to most IT businesses in the UK.
Page 43 has a large colour Product of the Week article on OpenOffice.org

Web site is www.crn.co.uk so it might be somewhere on there too.
