Unrelated to the different suites, I think a major marketing point is
that it is could well be easier for people to learn OpenOffice.org than
to learn the new Office 2007 interface. Ribbon toolbars, etc. So now is
a good time to switch to OOo for less fuss and way less money, rather
than upgrade to 2007.
