Is it a new process? For previous release, it was necessary to vote for all
RC.
Why don't you run a vote for 3.0 RCx?

Hi,
in preparation for the release of Apache Maven 3.0, the Maven team is
seeking your help to discover regressions since Maven 2.x. Everybody
interested in taking a preview of the upcoming release for a test drive
can get source and binary bundles from this URL:

two bogus commits in each of the plugins you mentioned (antrun, ejb,
linkcheck, pdf).
In each case there was no net code change AFAICT, only the two commit
logs could be confusing, eg for the antrun plugin, there are no
When you say that something is wrong with the PDF plugin, do you mean it
won't build, or do you mean the SVN history is wrong? I'm not sure how
to fix the SVN history; this apparently happened inadvertently when I
dcommit'ed from my git repository (since ASF is sync'ing the entire

Hi John,
There is something wrong in the pdf plugin: the last two commit logs are
duplicated with you as author [1], however no commits happened apparently. Can
you check that?

Hi,
Few month ago (in July), I tried to download (for work) the Maven Repository
with my home PC but after a couple of hours, I was banned!
Now I need to work with Maven at home and realize that I'm still banned of
the repo. I will not retry to download the repository… ever!
