Hi This class still uses plexus for IoC - https://github.com/apache/maven/blob/master/maven-core/src/main/java/org/apache/maven/project/DefaultProjectBuilder.java but as mentioned within the doc (http://maven.apache.org/maven-jsr330.html), JSR-330 is also supported since version 3.1 of maven-core but I don't see such a class.
