I think this has been proposed as a pure Maven feature before, and its
best to keep it there. Can you file it in
I'm using Maven Proxy to cache not only ibiblio, but some of our
internal repos as well (remote offices, etc). The problem is that MP
will look at all sites for snapshots before returning the result. This
means that queries for internal snapshots hit ibiblio. This is at best a
slowdown, at worst
