The test is in this class is deliberate but feel free to merge. Just

I see that commit 900021 adds a totally new
StringSearchModelInterpolatorTest class. I spent some time reviving the
testcase from the 2.2 trunk earlier because I had to fix a minor concurrency
issue in the class.
