Martin Haimberger commented on MYFACES-1253: -------------------------------------------- Hi, the problem described in the bug 147 is not a bug in MyFaces 1.2. if a hyphen (-) is used in the id like : <form id="form-test" ..... the java script which is generated has the following name: function clear_form_2Dtest() so this is ok. If a dot is used in the id name, an exception is thrown that a dot can not be used in an id name. So i think this is also ok. For me, it seems, this is no bug in MyFaces.
