As you might know, if you have a navigation rule with redirect /
configuration you'll lose all the request scoped data like:
* managed beans
* messages
* locale
I've checked in the RedirectTrackerManager into tomahawk-sandbox which

Another good way to ensure this doesn't happen again is to simply
change the svn:externals to point to http instead of https for the
code that ones that should not be editable. That way, the code comes
along in sort of a 'read only' fashion.
