Yes, long descriptions are supported; see the example output I showed in
the original email. And I see no reason why every option currently
offered in xml cannot be supported via either an annotation or even
better automatically by introspecting the classes.

In core 1.2, class UIComponentClassicTagBase messes with the id field
of components if they are in an iterator, adding a (clumsy) unique
suffix string.
And for some reason it defines in an interator as any kind of include
or forward.

1. are you using the RI? Myfaces doesn't currently work for some reason.
2. I had a similar issue when I was trying to use an old browser
window. Pluto/jetty was trying to resolve

MyFaces Trinidad CORE out. The artifacts are deployed to my private
Apache account ([1]).

With myfaces I was seeing intermittent with the navigation of the test
case... The RI seems to work perfectly. At first glance, Mike thought
it might be an issue with the serialized view that MyFaces is saving on
the request scope being preserved between renders.

Well you know my vote, I'm concerned about the incompatibility and,
frankly, having it only in base provides us nothing but a nicer looking
class. Ultimately though, if nobody else cares I'm willing to let it
slide. I just think it sets a bad precedent.
