for me as Facelets
I like the OSGi support very much, as long as the standard, classpath
based, approach doesn't break or in other ways degrades in quality
(i.e. performance).
In other words, OSGi is nice, but I think the current approach should
remain the #1 priority.

in the JavaDocs. The first bullet explains it.
But the second bullet still looks silly (the part where

the parameters you have to consider are:
1) javax.faces.INTERPRET_EMPTY_STRING_SUBMITTED_VALUES_AS_NULL
2) javax.faces.VALIDATE_EMPTY_FIELDS
