It could be traced back to an implementation problem in method
org.apache.myfaces.shared_impl.webapp.webxml.WebXML.getServletMappings()

A patch was applied, so the solution is included in 1.1.7 and 1.2.7.

trinidad from svn (HEAD), with little success. Here is what I did :
- checked out sources ( svn co

- built/installed with maven
Are you building from the root trinidad directory or are you trying to
build one of the subfolders? I have never seen it not find
UIXDocument.It looks like you are getting the error at run time, not
compile time. What runtime environment are you using?

Its not quite there where I want it to be but it is a start.
The issues are I want more than groovy in, but for now as far as I could
see only groovy allows direct classloading. JRuby for instance only
allows object loading or jsr 223.
The same probably applies to jython.

I think Grant is right and it is indeed a very good thing for MyFaces
to have Goovy support.
