Funny you folks are talking about this as the biggest problem with
pushing a CoolBeans UC update yesterday was figuring out how to please
all the PHP modules that have implementation dependencies on
php.editor.
That and the fact that, oddly, autoupdate does not show updates for
disabled modules. E
A big thing for us to keep in mind for the future of NB IMO is that Gradle,
Ant, Make, Cake, Gulp etc are actually build automation tools which give a
standardized mechanism to build and execute nearly anything; not just Java,
C/C++, .Net, or JS respectively. A team can use these to get standardize

Judging from the thread, that's fine with me - I've been catching up
on other work so not checked them myself still.

Can you start a new thread about this with a clear and relevant subject

Ignore my last about color syntax highlighting as I have corrected the issues.
But, when I click on a file or folder, git-->ignore it will not ignore. Also,
the branch name does not appear in the project like it used to in NB 8.2.
Color coded M/UU/A/D "do" color code however.
Thoughts?

Geertjan,
Awhile back you told me how to bring in more plugin references to NB 10. I
can't remember because all I see in NB 11 are 45 plugins. NB 11 on my personal
machine is showing JS and JSON files in color and with syntax highlighting but
my work computer, which has the same plugins, does

Dear member of the Apache NetBeans community.
The Maven artefacts for Apache NetBeans 11.1 are ready ( with correct build
numbers + javadoc where Javadoc is generated)
to be published based on the respective state of source that conduct the
positive vote (13 july).

I think the first step should be now to create a few language plug-ins from
the existing (donated) bundle. The next step could be to set up this
"pootle" server from Apache (I didn't know it before) to give the community
a way to fix missing translations and add new ones.

If NetBeans plugin requires implementation-dependency then plugin binary
will not be compatible with the targeted version of IDE, as build with
different *OpenIDE-Module-Implementation-Version* dependency.
Thanks and kind regards,
