Not saying this wouldn't be useful, but, especially in today's world of
remote development,
I was wondering if it was possible to embedded a “jabber server” as part
of it, then the host (of the session) would fill the roll of the server.
Although that would be more peer to peer and less available to the public.
Unless you publish the details of the session somewhere.

Will any similar updates be needed for 12.3 coming soon?

Hi Christian, Svata,
thanks for the quick response.
Is there anyone knowing how to refresh that index to get those files linked
to the web?
I can see there at least nb-javac-15 binaries updated Oct 2020. Maybe
someone of the nb-javac team?

Dear Apache NetBeans community,
The first beta build for Apache NetBeans 12.3 is available.
As per the release schedule, NB 12.3 is a non-LTS release, and will
not have a full NetCAT process. However, feedback and testing from
those on the dev@ and netcat@ lists would still be appreciated,

Ah, that's interesting. Had not
Hi, Joerg, Christian,
in fact all the binaries are present at
https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/netbeans/binaries/ but are not linked from
the web (see note at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=115507251).
If someone suggests a procedure how to refresh the index file
Hi Joerg,
You are correct, it seems these binaries were never uploaded to
https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/netbeans/binaries/.
I've created two bugs on JIRA to track this.

Hi,
One of the weird things about the setup before now is that at each
release cycle we've moved the update centre redirect for master /
daily builds to the coming / current release.
I'm not sure that always makes the most sense, so I've added a
redirect for dev via the VM like the others that go
Hi all,
in the 12.2 platform there was a switch from the
platform-launchers-10.0.zip to platform-launchers-12.2.zip. I have the
great pleasure since years to build the NetBeans platform in an offline
Windows environment. So I need to download the external libraries manually
and put them in my envi
