That helps. Updates now, would not at all before. Still lacks the Java Source
Base Plugin, but that is no concern as long as it is fixed eventually. Will

+1 JDK doesn’t have to be embedded, and I for one would prefer that it isn’t
as I will be updating the JDK independently of NetBeans anyway.

In my case the error shows up when I initialize the program. It doesn't affect
anything that I can tell. This IS when I simply use it. As I said I don't

The ant email task will not work with the current trunk, when run with
JDK10.
The solution would be according to ant-dev to download the JAF yourself.
A quick look at the license [1] and /home/legal [2] shows JAF has a CDDL
license and this license is allowed for binary distribution by apac
For starters we could have a disk image without the JDK and users will just
have to install Java before installing NetBeans.
Signing of the installer would also be nice but it's not mandatory. Baby steps.

Which is where I believe we may run into problems with Apache policies? If
so, I think we need to push the case that the world is changing!

Hello,
I would like to have a convenience binary disk image for macOS.
It's not very complicated to do once you have the zip contents.
We also need a build slave with macOS I believe. I have an older mac with macOS
Sierra (I think) that I could configure to run builds for NetBeans. That is, if
