The slides look good to me Ken.
I did have my history of NetBeans and Forte confused, so thank you for
that.
Was there another IDE that was targeted at something specific, perhaps web
development? Sun Java Studio Creator? Did it leverage NB or Forte? Just
curious.

It's good to see a photo of the original authors. I like that.
I suggest to keep the table of contents very short. The smaller points look
like personal opinion so maybe you could add them while you speak.

Geertjan has recommended that I make my presentation on NetBeans that I will be

Hi Matthias,
This is nice. Derby module as the same utility usage of Holder.
I guess this is useless to provide library for that.

I try to compile all clusters of NetBeans with jdk 11.
Lots of javaee class disappears due to JEP 302. (java.xml.ws,
java.xml.bind,..).

We need to provide them using library (one lib for each jar) . (Recoding seems
a bad idea).

are we trying to achieve, why, and how?
Thanks,

need to have a library providing thoose class. As Matthias Bläsing mention
in the PR they are already available in websvc.jaxws21.
But the module is only present for java cluster and must be available to ide

Hi all,
According to our poll...
https://doodle.com/poll/xueimbynzam7sri7
...we have a Apache NetBeans Virtual Meetup coming up tomorrow, i.e.,
Tuesday 12:00 CEST.
That time is quite difficult for our US friends -- and also the main topic
to be discussed right now is the transition of netbeans.
