Hi,
AFAIK we're not using hg.netbeans.org for binaries any longer, are we?
Last build I did fetched them from OSUOSL [1].
Maybe we want to explain in Confluence how to upload binaries to OSUOSL.
I recall reading somewhere that some credentials were required.

Hi,
javadoc.tgz is just an example binary, probably not very representative.
The real problem arises when we want to host _development_ maven
artifacts or JNLP binaries. That is big, and we just can't do that each
eight hours using a git branch, I think.
For releases I'd suggest:

Yes! Exactly! For some reason I was even able to upload binaries there
using my ancient NetBeans credentials...

No kidding! :-)
This is meant to be a short term fix for hosting release Javadocs, and
possibly dev Javadocs with your date fix, and will proxy back

Hi all,
I've been taking a look at the current http://bits.netbeans.org/dev and
we host there many stuff: there's a 51Mb javadoc.tgz file there (and
jnlp stuff, maven, etc.).
Generating a 51Mb. binary file and hosting it in a git branch each eight
hours simply won't scale. Add to that JNLP f

Hi,
getting the possibility to file issues is one piece of the puzzle, getting
more attention to Apache NetBeans Community and ensuring we will be good to
run on latest Java version (i.e. find issues early). We can do this without
being part of the outreach, but I think it will be far more effecti

Hi,
I think the process is simple and infra compatible.
AFAIK the bits.netbeans.org roots contains
/dev for nightly items including 2 snapshots for maven, jnlp, Javadoc, nightly
build (about 30 versions)
/{version} for Javadoc and jnlp related to a specific released version
/maven2 for mav
Hi all,
So, would it be possible to report OpenJDK bugs then? Or what's the
exact purpose of that initiative?
Yesterday I found what seems to be a bug in the GTK Plaf, that makes
NetBeans 10 hang while installing nb-javac [1] on Linux.
Would that allow us to report bugs to OpenJDK? Or do we
Hi,
The link in the wiki to the build artifacts needs some fixing.
It is currently linking to the vc1

How are the edition permissions granted for the wiki?

I confirm that downloading the Apache release of JavaDB will provide a copy of
the derbyclient.jar that is needed by NetBeans. Once registered, you can
create connections to JavaDB via Apache NetBeans in the same manner as in the
past.

Wait, it's working now.
Maybe because I enabled something when I tried to set a breakpoint in a
