As Henk noted in the Incubator PMC vote thread [1], since August 18
Apache releases MUST be accompanied by a SHA-256 and/or SHA-512
checksum file and SHOULD NOT be accompanied by MD5 or SHA-1 checksum
file [2].

Working on putting the documents together for that, again, there's no one
in the Apache NetBeans community who wants to stay in the Apache Incubator
forever -- it's just a question of being able to focus on it now that the
