That would be perfect! The NetCAT program will start after Beta. I.e., the
NetCAT program will be used to contribute to verifying Apache NetBeans
(incubating) 9.0 for final release.

So, none of your issues are blockers for Beta. They are blockers for the
final release. Can you build the 9.0 Beta source artifact and start it up?
Do you not encounter big immediate problems? Then you should vote +1 in
this thread.
