Hello,
I have downloaded a new Netbeans 10vc5 and I was not able to either open an
existen Groovy project or create a new one. When I tried to browse the disk
for a Groovy project, Netbeans does not recognize any of them. I was not able
to create a new one as there is no Groovy entry in the

Editing controllers - OK, services - OK, taglibs - OK, settings (YML

something by shortcuts or Ctrtl+Left Mouse, and I hope it's bug of old

I vote on disabling the Grains support.
Also with that we might to need to check some dependencies / module
config. AFAIK the whole Groovy support was installable as one bundle
called something "Groovy on Grails Support", so Grails was installed
even if you just needed the gr
I think I saw someone looking for (better) Grails support in NetBeans on
this list.
But we could disable those modules from being built - until those issues
are fixed.

Hi all,
Seems we have a problem here:
1. Travis checks if tests compile
2. Grails Support has test depending on "Jelly Tools Enterprise"
(enterprise/jellytools.enterprise) - which are not yet part of the release
build
3. Travis build fails due to the missing dependency
How to take this further?
PR done..

Yes, provide a PR with the necessary changes in cluster.properties and we
can decide from there.

Hi,
with the update to 2.5.2 (PR still to be merged) , trait support and some
more bug fixes coming I would like to suggest Groovy to be included in the
NetBeans 10 release.
Comments?
If ok - I will provide the necessary changes to cluster.properties.

I do some stuff with Jenkinsfiles every so often at work and having better
groovy support NetBeans might help here.
Reach out closer to the time and I'll know
