Definitely, I am proposing to bring in the project under a separate repository i.e. https://github.com/apache/nutch-helm.git rather than donate directly to the https://github.com/apache/nutch.git. In this case, IP Clearance is required as per the Incubator PMC guidance http://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/index.html I actually did more or less the exact same thing with tika-helm recently cf. http://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/tika-tika-helm.html I hope this it clear. lewismc
