for, this will help test build issues, if any. Tomorrow once the patch is
ready for 1883, I may have to bug you again on how to test it by
mounting/unmounting procfs.

Yes, that indeed was the issue. After installing genromfs, the build went
smoothly and the simulator is working as expected.
