+1 to remove the functionality because it is a very old contribution that
has been left incomplete for several years without much interest from
community members.

BTW IIRW the purpose of *CompDoc* was to create specific composite documents based on
"primitive" content types.

My recommendation is to remove the functionality. It seems immature

months ago [1]. The CompDoc functionality of the content manager has
several bugs and does not seem to work properly. We should discuss if we
