Since I'm touching the bootstrapping code in ofbiz and doing open heart surgery, I would appreciate comments and feedback on the first patch to ensure that I'm on the right track. You can find the patch in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-6783 All tests pass, the class is still ugly and messy, but this is a first step. Thank you in advance for your help!
