Here is something I've been thinking about two days ago, and pinged about on
twitter do dblevins. However, I'd like your feedback.
I love using OpenEJB. Not only I write articles on it, I simply use it as an
embedded container. Given its ease of use, I figure it would be a great idea
to supply

I wrote a couple of Maven Archetypes a while back - one is for a simple
ejb-jar and the other is a multi module ear project, with OpenEJB mixed in
to do testing. They were based on some generic J2EE archetypes that were
around at the time - not sure if they still are or not.

Thank you. I just noticed there were already some archetypes.
After that, I noticed the sandboxes also had some OpenEJB Mojos. Any
opinions about it as well?
Thank you

Did you check the classpath created for the imported Maven projects
into Eclipse. It happened with me once, it seems that when the Maven
project is imported into Eclipse the order of JAR(s) in the classpath
is not always the same as it is when you build using Maven and hence

Hi,
In the HandlerChain class of the jee module, we uses QName for the
type of serviceNamePattern and portNamePattern for better access (By
default, String type is used in the generated classes). But in the web
service spec, it is allowed to specify * and invalid name space
prefix.
e.g.
Do you really use ma en archetypes? Personaly examples are more useful.

I use them a fair bit. Its a personal preference I guess, but if I'm trying
something out, I like to try my own thing with a generated POM to get me
started, rather than hack about someone else's example.
Examples are extremely useful though, and I've always thought the OpenEJB
examples are
