Hum, I tried with some new tweets and it seems to me it is really updated
real time.
Definitely something interesting we can add to our current web site.

Maybe the notion of real time is confusing. I was refering to
what's happening now as in what is getting tweeted withing this
very minute about TomEE/OpenEJB. And my tweets were days old...

normally the default logging should simply be a JUL logging.
the only modification is if you don't override OpenEJB root loggers
(OpenEJB, Transaction...) the handler (=appender) is changed to look like
the old noe in embedded mode (=not standalone tomee).
As David said he restored the old log4j
it works with all openejb deliveries containing openejb-core.
but it is clearly not an javaee module since it is the openejb deployement,
no?

As mentioned before, in production adding something like
-Dopenejb.log.factory=log4j is not as easy as it sounds. Especially if has
to be done by a 'user' over the wire.
I don't just drop trunk into production on a whim, but if all my tests pass
and the changes are
