We use KMFL (ibus) to type complex characters. So, for example, the sequence _;] forms the letter ɔ̱̈. In LO 4.2.x, the three characters are swallowed up and replaced with the composed character. In LO 4.3, only the last character is swallowed up. LibreOffice has been fixed.
