Thanks for your help in this issue because it is *really* annoying.

I want to contribute to openoffice. I have found a bug that I think
would be easy (#20543). I have already fixed this and it works quite
well. What should I do to submit this patch and how exactly should I
create the patch.

library is
0x00 which is invalid. If there is anything I can do to fix
this or if there already is a way to fix this please let me know.
Thanks.

Well enabling openoffice.org dialog boxes worked. Maybe this can be my first
contribution to openoffice. I'll ask on the list.

Now i heard that gcj gives an out of memory error on linux and makes it kill
a process because it is a bad resource hog. Is this true? Have you built it
with only gcj and what path did you use for --with-jdk-home?

So can i just install gcj? Like no gnu classpath and stuff? Is there a
tutorial or howto or some other document on how to do this. Thanks for your
help Caio.

I would like to contribute code to openoffice.org but I need to know if I
can have two copies installed at the same time, Gentoo's openoffice-bin and
the one that I built for development. IS this possible?
Thanks.
