I think it should be posted to the QA dev list as well. After all by
default issues are assigned to a QA engineer. And because of that in
theory a software engineer should see just a single bug that gets
assigned to him by QA, while QA identifies all duplicates and resolves
them as duplicates. And for the most part this process works as it
should. Of course most developers also look over their project specific
issue ML as well, and thus may make some quick hand picks or add a short
resolution.
