alex kamil created PHOENIX-2473: ----------------------------------- Summary: adding multiple columns (ADD IF NOT EXISTS) Key: PHOENIX-2473 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-2473 Project: Phoenix Issue Type: Bug Reporter: alex kamil Priority: Minor
When adding multiple columns with ADD IF NOT EXISTS - if one of the columns already exists none of the new columns will be added e.g. CREATE TABLE mytable ( id BIGINT not null primary key, col1 VARCHAR) ALTER TABLE mytable ADD IF NOT EXISTS COL1 VARCHAR, COL2 DOUBLE as a result COL2 is not added since COL1 already exists which is not expected. IF NOT EXISTS should apply to each column individually. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
