I’m AFK, but that is the issue with the 2.11 deploy script. It both builds the 
3.8 wheel using an old docker image and then installs that Python/c++ client.

I would support the next versions of 2.10 and 2.11 installing the latest at 
that time of the Python/c++ client. Let’s just be explicit and careful about 
all of the GitHub ci eventually passing.

If done want a PIP then please ask soon.
