Four routers are connected in a linear network: A-B-C-D.

opens 1000 receivers on router B.

The barrage of receiver creations takes about 0.3 seconds. The router logs show:
* within a few seconds all routers emit empty computed link cost values.
* 25 seconds later costs are stable again
* then costs are then propagated between A and B, and C and D only. A and B
cannot see C and D, and vice versa
* 15 seconds later costs are stable again
