I'm trying to build serf 1.3.9 with scons 3.0.5 on Linux where the toolchain is
at /pkg/bin like gcc, as and co. PREFIX=/pkg of course.
$ scons PREFIX=$PREFIX APR=$PREFIX APU=$PREFIX OPENSSL=$PREFIX
