Hello Kevin,

I should have send the email from my other email address (this one). That one *IS* subscribed to the users mailing list. Sorry for that.

XS4ALL does also not give out free email addresses but it is an ISP that gives out paid addresses. I'm one of the email admins there and I was testing DKIM on my own private domain before we start testing on the xs4all.nl and xs4all.net domains.

The article I mentioned also mentions the domains Wanadoo.co.uk and Freeserve.co.uk that have stopped their service of providing Free emails, and those two are also still on the FREEMAIL list. So that is why I was wondering if the list was actually maintained.

Thanks for replying and forwarding of my mail.

You need to subscribe to the list to post but I'm replying and cc'ing dev@ so it

Yes, it's maintained. If Xs4all doesn't give out free email addresses, then it
likely does need to get removed. And thanks for the feedback on terra!

Hope you are well, nice to see you posting!

KAM

Hello,

I was just testing my renewed SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup through some DKIM testing
remailers when I noticed that my domain is on this FREEMAIL_FROM list.

Now I know that I'm never sending out any spam and the default score for this
rule isn't that high. And since all the mails that are coming from my (personal)
domain are SFP aligned and DKIM signed and thus should also pass any DMARC check
(policy reject) with flying colors, the risc of my mails actually getting marked
as spam isn't very high.

It did however made me wonder if anyone is actually really maintaining that
list. Because just including terra.* as all being FREEMAIL is VERY general. And
the real freemailer 'Terra Mail' closed down quite some time ago:
