Hi Philip,
I'm going to update your CRUD Demo [1] to the latest version of Struts
- I hope you don't mind?
Another thing I would like to include such small examples into
codebase as part of [2] with UI tests. Are there any other small
examples which can be included?

I wouldn't want to archive the old struts 1 ticket (i.e., hide them in
jira). But consider creating a new STRUTS JIRA ticket for 3 and forward,
keep WW for 2.x, and STR 1.x

Yes, we should say that this is the end and go forward. Basically I
would like to have just one project - Struts - as the website, in
JIRA, as a Twitter tag and so on. I think there is no
Feel free to register an issue, but basically I want to solve each
such a case properly - it should be treated as a transitive situation.
Also some kind of community involvement ;-)

Maybe a log.trace could be used in those cases, instead of log.debug?

Hi Rees,
Hi Rees,
I have added such a debug logging in every possible place where
exception was silently swallowed ;-) Just to catch such a minor
problem like your. Please register an issue, I would like to resolve
all that problems in proper way, not by //ignore ;-)

Fair enough, I'm hopeful as well that the docs will still be available. I
realize there hasn't been a release in ages, but I always assumed that if there
was a security issue that it would be patched. If someone wants to migrate
they could use some version of Struts2 2.? to slowly migrate piec
This doesn't appear to be a showstopper, but I am getting an exception in
my logs with version 2.3.12 that I was not getting with version 2.3.8 (the
next most recent version that I have tested). It appears that Struts2 is
attempting to set my static redirect parameter on
the ServletActionRedirectR
Please remember that this is 4th test build of the same code base,
introduced changes were related to the reported showstoppers.

Hi,
Please take a time and test the bits - any help is appreciated.
Staging Maven repo

Standalone artifacts

Release notes

This sounds like a good plan!
