I don't remember the version number that commons-validator moved the ValidatorUtil into util.ValidatorUtils, but i believe it was 1.1.3. If this is the case and you want to get struts-faces back up...then you will also need to apply the patch associated with this bug. http://issues.apache.org/

Agreed, that will probably fix the nightly build issue, but I don't want to leave Struts 1.1 users out in the dark. The reality is that most people using Struts are at companies who don't allow them to use nightly builds of Struts. I think we can solve this by tagging/branching. -James -Ori
