Bert,
May I know why this patch was not considered? Looking at the commit I
could not see any difference.

Looks like Bert committed a functionally equivalent fix as part of r1138474.

I don't know. I came across this because I saw code that did:
peg_rev = INVALID_REVNUM;
/* do nothing with peg_rev */
if (peg_rev == INVALIV_REVNU
Is there a way that this can be tested? ie. avoid similar situations
in the future?

Does that mean manually editing configure? Or do we have to provide a
configure option to relax the check?

doesn't add permissions. (Unless there'

As can be seen here:
http://ci.apache.org/builders/bb-openbsd/builds/16/steps/Test%20bindings/logs/testlog-swig-rb
our ruby bindings tests fail to run with ruby 1.9.
Does anyone know how to get this to work?
If not, should we disallow ruby-1.9 at configure time and require
ruby-1.8 for Subversion

Not a trivial fix, unfortunately.
See http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2691
(and I remember another issue with a patch for 'diff -c HEAD', but can't
find it ATM.)

Hiyas,
as requested in the buddy peer review for feature requests I asked on
IRC for opinions to implement "svn diff -c PREV". There it was proposed
to ask here.
I am missing to use "svn diff -c PREV", which should show the previous
commit without the changes to the current working copy.
