I posted an updated version of the benchmarks. https://ctf.open.collab.net/sf/go/rel2820
The main change is that I added some merge scenarios to the tests of working copies that have lots of folders and lots of files. Those two working copies seem to better reveal any problems we have. I also posted new results from my own system to get the ball rolling. I am still running them on Windows. These results are from OSX. As an example, the merge of a working copy with lots of folders did this: Merge Reintegrate 1.6.16 Release 0:38.278 0:50.386 1.7.0 r1086245 4:26.828 8:46.829 1.7.0 r1088721 0:03.859 0:07.816 Here are the results from working copy with lots of files in single folders: Merge Reintegrate 1.6.16 Release 4:40.006 4:35.207 1.7.0 r1086245 0:20.975 0:05.976 1.7.0 r1088721 0:10.055 0:01.973 See the wiki for full results. https://ctf.open.collab.net/sf/projects/csvn The updated test runs using HEAD also show nice improvements to checkout, update, switch and commit. -- Thanks Mark Phippard http://markphip.blogspot.com/
