These issues can/should be documented under "known issues" in release note.

For now, we should document every artifacts being created in release doc

For some reason, I got an impression that artifacts reduction was completed
earlier, but apparently its not.We are trying to reduce number of artifacts to
avoid confusion to users. This is an issue from earlier releases as well, not
being introduced as a part of SystemML 0.11 release.

Dear podling,
This email was sent by an automated system on behalf of the Apache

There are also two bugs related to max pooling that I'd like to get a fix for

thanks Felix for taking this over. Here is a list of recent papers and

Hi all,
we are in the process of writing the next Apache PMC report for
SystemML. This report is an important part of the graduation process as
an Apache incubator where we can show our progress as a project and
community. We are therefore collecting everything that demonstrates the
progress
Thank you Felix! I really appreciate it!

Hi Jeremy,
I think moving forward with visualization and design is a great idea,
especially since I feel there is currently momentum after the great design
refactoring of the project website. Mike and Jeremy, please let me know if
there's any way in which I can help.

Another option would be to have a page on the main website or documentation
site that describes all the different artifacts.
Or, we could have a README plus a web page and cover all bases.
Adding a README to the artifacts could be a good JIRA for someone who wants
to learn more about the project
+1 "Should we include a README with the release artifacts that describes
what each one is?"

Hi,
I mentioned here that the "source-release.zip" is not something I
recognize:
https://www.mail-archive.com/dev@systemml.incubator.apache.org/msg00960.html
Is this mystery artifact created by the script to deploy release candidates?
It should definitely be removed in my opinion.

Hi!
with ApacheCON in Seville right around the corner
chances are you've made your travel arrangements
already. If you happen to be around the conference
on Fri, November 18th, 16:30 - 17:20 why not use
that time to highlight your favorite podling?
