Guys, It may not apply to Archaius at this point, but in a MicroProfile lab Emily is doing here at Java2Days she mentioned, Netflix will no longer contribute to Hystrix. A rather crucial piece for circuit breakers for the Spring stack.
If Netflix also pulled the plug on Archaius, this shows, why it is a good idea to continue with Tamaya because next to Archaius there few OpenSource solutions for distributed Configuration in the Cloud (maybe Spring Config but it only works with the Spring stack) so whether based on MicroProfile Config, JSR 382 or a potential Jakarta.Config, having an Open Source project that is not dominated by a single vendor and committer seems like a good idea.
