Hi,
I am Gary Gregory from the Apache Log4j 2 project.
If this project is interested in porting from SLF4J to Log4j 2, I happy to do
the work or help out. We have a clean separation between API and implementation
and support many backing implementations.
I can post a PR link here if needed.
