I was informed recently that Facebook uses MQTT in its mobile messaging app. Since Thrift was originally developed by Facebook, has there been any discussion on whether MQTT could integrate with Thrift? MQTT uses a client - broker - client model which may not fit very neatly in Thrift's client-server paradigm.
