Since there is no vote on tcnative, is it always safe to say that the
latest native source available in
http://archive.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-connectors/native/ is as
close to "official" or "stable" as it's going to get?
Will tcnative 1.1.8 work with Tomcat 5.5.20?
Thanks.

Josh.

I got my question about mod_jk 1.2.20 answered. (Thanks Rainer.) Anyone
know what the status of the native apr connector is in Tomcat 5.5?
Thanks in advance.

Would anyone be able to tell me what the status is of mod_jk and the
native apr connector? I know it looked like the vote to approve mod_jk
1.2.20 looked like it was going to pass but I haven't seen an
announcement that it did. Also, Is the native apr connector 1.1.8
final? Thanks.

Josh.

I'm updating to Tomcat 5.5.20 and I'm not sure what version of the
native APR connector I should be using. The tomcat-native.tar.gz in
apache-tomcat-5.5.20\bin still contains 1.1.3. I see 1.1.4 and 1.1.6 in
http://www.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-connectors/native/. What is
the right version to
I should have checked this before the vote for 5.5.16 was closed, but I
just realized that in 5.5.16 the native connector is still at 1.1.1.
Does the Tomcat native connector have it's own release cycle? How does
that work since it is bundled in the Tomcat release? Thanks.

Are you sure that + is the default for the FlushPackets option? I had a
similar issue where I was trying to stream data from a servlet. Once I
added 'JkOptions +FlushPackets' to my mod_jk config, everything worked
as expected.

Httpd. In tcnative, 's' is
it's internal socket structure, and the APR socket is s->sock.

I added the following line to
tomcat-native.1.1.1/jni/native/src/network.c (added at line 388):
I'm running into a problem with the APR connector not shutting down
properly on Unix and Linux systems (seems to work fine on Windows).
Tomcat runs fine with the APR connector and there are no errors on
shutdown. However, when I try to restart Tomcat I get a socket bind
failed error in the catalin
I was able to get this to build by adding User32.Lib to the
Object/library modules field.

Hey everybody!
I'm trying to build the native apr connector from Tomcat 5.5.12 on HPUX
Itanium and I'm running into a problem during the configure. APR 1.2.2
built fine. I built OpenSSL 0.9.8a as a static library (I couldn't get
it to build as a shared library.) When I try to configure the tomca
I'm trying to build the native connector with APR on Windows and I'm
running into some linking issues. The apr and lib apr projects build
fine, but it bombs out while linking the libtcnative project. I'm
trying to build the tomcat-native-1.1.0 from Tomcat 5.5.12. Is APR
1.2.2 the correct version
Thanks.

What is the latest stable mod_jk? I know there was a vote for 1.2.15.
What is the status of that?
On the download page it has links to 1.2.14, but these links are broken.
On the documentation page, 1.2.13 is the latest listed.
