steps mentioned in Luciano's mail thread could be added to developer's
guide. I'll make a note to do this but I won't get to it till next week but
don't let me hold you back if you were planning to do it yourself.

Hi,
We start with the simple steps. Say, you first want to understand how Java
is mapped to JSON. You can write test cases to use the Java2JSON transformer
[1][2] , pass in simple types, complex types, arrays, collections and maps
to see what JSON objects are produced.

Hi,
I am investigating following JIRA:
TUSCANY-2488 (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-2488)
It looks to me that this issue is related with the databinding.
Where should I start looking to solve this issue?
Thanks,
Dhaval

Hi,
I just fixed the issue in trunk. The root cause is the classloader for the
generated fault bean. We used to set the parent of classloader to be the
classloader of the exception class which can be part of the JDK. IBM JDK seems
to use the classloader of the generated fault bean to load the a

I've been doing a bit of remedial work on the SDO trunk in the last few
days; picking out valuable edits from the 1.1 and 1.1.1 branches and tags
that had not made it to the trunk. Some of these edits went back to March
of this year, so in that time the trunk had altered, making the picture

It's not your Exception test class .. just the fact that this is the first
bottom-up (intf.java) test added to this test bucket, so the pom.xml needs
the jaxb dependencies added.
I'd guess you can find the right pom entry someplace like
'itest/databindings/jaxb-bottom-up'

Now that Tuscany is a TLP one of the things we could do is create a charter
for the project. Other projects have charters, eg [1], [2], [3], I'm not
sure its actually required these days, if it is several other recently
graduation projects haven't got around to it yet, but even if its not
