Nope, I just tested some random format, I think it was binary and
serialized. I imported a txt document into that format and then optened
it witht he CAS Editor itself.
I assume that the CAS Editor always prompts for a type system, or
applies the search strategy, since the format and the typesyste

Did you by any chance check if the CAS Editor can load any of the binary "TS"
or "TSI" forms (e.g. COMPRESSED_FILTERED_TSI) without prompting to specify an
additional type system?
