The vote is over.
+1 from Will, Nathan and myself, which is enough to process to the
actual release process.

Hi Claude,
(sorry about delay here).
First - "ant test" works fine on JDK 1.5/Windows.
But - The pom.xml file is incorrect. It lists the version as "1.0-SNAPSHOT"
not "1.0", the url ends in "DEVEL" not "1.0", and the svn link should be the
tag not the trunk.
Minor Notes (none a big issue)

FYI, target jdk must be >= source jdk, so I'll set it to 1.5

Oh, you're right. How come we never took care of source and target jdks
in dvsl so far? I'll remedy to this right now.

-1 :( sorry...
It was built with Java 6, while it should probably be built with as
early of a JDK as possible. Due to some uses of the @Deprecated
annotation, i believe this is Java 5. Though perhaps, we can have the
compiler target 1.4? I really wouldn't be picky about this if it were

Hi Claude,
Is there a binary artifact we should be looking at?
If not, remember that votes for releases need to be a specific set of files
(not svn head). Typically the process is
* create an svn branch for DVSL_1.0
* build the release files from that branch
* upload them to the release manager
I've tested out the trunk and successfully built the Tools docs with
it, however, i'm hesitant to give a +1 to a release which has no test
build (or at least a specific revision number). So, consider this a
-0 for this particular vote (though i'm feeling +1 on the DVSL code as
is in the trunk)
Great, Claude! Will try to download tonight or tomorrow night and review.

Hi people.
Here is the vote to release DVSL 1.0.
Since there hasn't been any significant code change but cosmetic ones
since quite a long time, there is probably no need to run through the
whole alpha/beta/RC process.
