The static site generators are nice but there is always some ramp-up, a
barrier to contribution whereas the mvn site generation is integral. I just
tried the reflow skin cited above on another project and while 'raw', it
has good doc and addresses the main problem w/ mvn sites, their datedness.

Downloaded src and bin. Checked signatures and hashes.
Layout looks good (LICENSE, NOTICE, etc).
Built src. Completed with SUCCESS. Threw below exception [1] on end though.
Did not try building with the release. Will have a go unless someone beats
me to it.

Do you know if there is anything special about hadoopqa account? You have
pointer to how we could setup an account of our own to do hbaseprecommit?
(I can write up a little bit of doc for yetus on how to after I go
through process).

Two paragraphs above releases section need a re-read; they are missing

Poking around, I can't see what version of maven my build ran with. I
talked to a 'yetus dev' and the gentleman claims it a yetus bug. I am
writing here just to see if I'm missing an emission of version somewhere.
If I hear nothing, I'll file an issue.

That sounds great Allen. So --multijdktests="compile", if we had jdk7 and
jdk8 for our jdks, would compile using 7 and 8 but then the 'default' would
be used to do the general suite (javadoc, unittests, etc.)
Thanks sir,

Dear Yeti:
We are currently running the full unit test suite for 1.7 and then 1.8 jdk
when doing a patch precommit run. We'd like to run the unit test suite once
only (our suite takes too long -- a different problem). I'm trying to
figure how I might do this with a yetus config/plugin combo but I

That'd be excellent. It would help address the wonky picture we currently
get when git history is mined to figure 'contributors'. It would be a PITA
and will likely fall-by-the-wayside if it is up to the committer to fill in
the info. If it could be automated, filled in by a git commit-hook, that'd
