Debug shiro in Zeppelin

Hi dear Zeppelin developers,

Does anyone know how to turn on debug info for shiro? I changed the
zeppelin/conf/log4j.properties to DEBUG but does't seem to see the shiro
debug log in the zeppelin.log.
