Hi there,
I wanted to share with both communities the news that we have open-source a
project that I have been working on for the past few months: Pravega.
Pravega is storage for streams and we have decided to make it publicly
available at an earlier stage to build a community that will help us
I can't remember how I installed pip, it was some time back, but I've used
python recently without a problem.

I think the way I've done extract the jira number isn't working, none of
the recent pull requests is going through because the title isn't in the
expected format. We need to make that more robust.
If anyone wants to contribute, then great, otherwise I'll fix it when I
have a chance.

I don't have any strong argument for keeping the Jira patches other than
the fact that this is what we have been doing since the project was
created. If there is anyone who do not want to use github in the community,
please speak up.

My bad, I made the build parameterized to see if I could trigger it
manually. I have disabled the parameters and should be back to normal now.

What do you people think we should do, try the earlier version or try to
fix the issues with the latest findbugs?

+1, great initiative, although it is very likely I won't be there.

I wanted to add that it is very important that all users test the release
candidate, not only committers or PMC members. That's the way to gain
confidence that the RC is good for everyone.
If you have a chance to check it out, especially if you have an app to test
it against, please do it this
